Under 15 Boys vs Worcestershire - Match Report

Staffordshire Boys U15s 9 Vs Worcestershire Boys U15s 1.

After a long absence from the field, Staffordshire Boys U15s produced a polished performance in defeating Worcestershire Boys 9-1.

After a bright start from Worcestershire, Staffordshire boys quickly gained control and looked threatening every time they went forward.

Staffs quickly turned the early dominance into a lead with a superb goal from Dan Hughes. Staffordshire continued to push forward and were rewarded with 2 quality goals from the excellent Dylan Scott - these goals were split with a Worcestershire goal from a corner. The 1st period of four 20 minutes ended 3-1 to Staffordshire.

The second period continued with Staffordshire dominating the majority of the ball. Worcestershire defended more aggressively and kept Staffs at bay for the majority of the game until Staffs LB, Ethan Bracher, scored a superb free kick, making it 4-1 at half time.

A more even 3rd quarter saw Worcestershire enjoy more possession and threaten the Staffordshire goal. Staffs added a fifth midway through the 3rd period with an excellent goal from Jharrel Williams. The 3rd period ended 1-0 to staffs, 5-1 overall.

Staffordshire Boys really stepped up the pressure in the final quarter and attacked Worcestershire from the outset. A superb goal by Dylan Scott ensured he got his hat trick, followed by nice combination around the 18yrd box ending with a fine goal for Charlie Dean. Staffs flying LB Ethan Bracher added to the score and got himself a second goal making it 8-1. Staffs final goal was the second for Jharrel Williams, some special feet got him through the defence and he finished nicely in the corner.

A superb game from both sides and thank you to Worcestershire for their hospitality.
