National Cup draws

Staffordshire have been handed a mixed bag of draws. The Under 14 boys probably face the stiffest task with an away tie to Lancashire and if they were to negotiate that then they will have a home tie against either Lincolnshire or Bedfordshire.

Their female counterparts, the Under 14 Girls, also have an away day when they will face near neighbours Cheshire and the reward for a victory will be a home tie against West Midlands or Inner London.

The Under 16 boys have the unenviable task of trying to retain the national Cup but at least they do kick off with a home tie against Lincolnshire School's and if they progress then they will face Cheshire School's again with at home.

The Under 18 boys who were semi finalists last year, will have an extremely tough task to beat Humberside in Round 1 with the winners playing either North Yorkshire or Greater Manchester.

The Under 16 girls go through a qualifying process of a mini league and will have to negotiate a passage aginst Worcestershire, West Midlands and Shropshire with the winners of the league going forward to the quarter finals.

Their is no competition for Under 15 boys as the premiere competition in this age group is the district competition, the ESFA Trophy.
