End of 2023-2024 Season
SSCFA Chairman Matt Skinner on the 2023-2024 season:
Firstly, I would like to thank Mark Warren for his endless work as the heartbeat of Staffordshire Schools FA, without his efforts Staffs Schools FA would be nowhere near as strong as it currently is. I would also like to thank all the volunteers that give up their time to assist the association in so many different ways, from Team Managers, Coaches to Administrators who’s work however big or small is valued immensely.
As always there have been a number of success’ throughout the season, namely the U18 Boys retaining their National Cup and both the Under 16 boys and the Under 16 girls winning their league titles this season- a fantastic achievement and well done to all involved. A special mention must go to Jonah Scutt who plays for our U18 boys who was selected to represent England in this years Centenary Shield- a superb achievement.
I feel we as an association we can all be proud the amount of opportunities that the Association has provided for Staffordshire’s footballers.
Stafford Town FC were again our hosts for our home fixtures, and our grateful thanks go to Paul Beedell and his team who make us welcome and keep the facilities in superb condition, as mentioned by numerous teams visiting the ground.
Finally, I would like to congratulate all of the Schools that were victorious in this years County Cup competitions, I am confident their success will live long in their memories!
