Competition Rules



  1. All matches must be played by the play by dates.Failure to do so will result in the toss of a coin to decide the result.
  2. Permission for postponements must be sought and given by the competition secretary.
  3. Failure to adhere to 2 could result in both teams being excluded from the competition
  4. The winners of each tie must e-mail the result in to the competition secretary within 48 hours of the match being played. Failure to do so could result in disqualification.
  5. The finals will be played at a neutral ground and each school will contribute £35 to the cost of the final with the balance being made up by the SSFA.. The dates of the finals will be published at the beginning of the Spring term.
  6. Match officials for the finals will be appointed .The costs will be met by SSFA
  7. A trophy and medals will be awarded to the winners and medals to the runners up..
  8. It shall be the responsibility of the both team to make contact to arrange games at least ten days before the limit date.. At least two dates must be offered. If there is a dispute then the Competition Secretary shall be informed and his word shall be final.
  9. All other rules for the competition regarding time, ball size, pitch dimensions, substitutes etc. shall be those as laid down in the ESFA handbook for the appropriate age group competition.

10.  3G/4G pitches are acceptable to be used in these competitions.

11.  The word of the Competition Secretary shall be final.

12.  Players are only allowed to play in one competition except in the case of girls but they shall not be allowed to             play beyond the recommended two year age band.
